Felipe B. Fulgencio, Esq., is the managing attorney and founder of Fulgencio Law in Tampa, Florida. His law firm pursues justice for Florida’s injured in the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice and negligent security, as well as sinkhole, property claims and general litigation matters.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Mr. Fulgencio, a native of Brazil, traveled the world as a professional athlete, racing in over 250 events and winning 44 overall events in his career. He attended and graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in History, and continued his education at the University Of Alabama School of Law, one of the top 30 law schools in the United States. In 2011, Attorney Felipe Fulgencio earned a Juris Doctorate. Five days after graduation, he moved to the Tampa Bay area, where he has established his roots and has lived ever since.
While in law school, Mr. Fulgencio served as an Honor Court Justice and as an editor of the Alabama Civil Rights & Civil Liberties Law Review. Additionally, Mr. Fulgencio received a most outstanding award student in Trial Advocacy II, received the Order of the Samaritan Award and the Dean’s Community Service Award and a scholarship from the Birmingham Bar Association. Mr. Fulgencio was inducted in the Bench & Bar Legal Honor Society in the Fall of 2010, and he served as the vice president and treasurer or the Latin American Student Association.
Felipe’s experience includes clerkships and positions at several law firms and pro bono legal services providers, including, without limitation, Rosen Harwood, The Bayshore Law Group, The Law Offices of Joseph A. Porcelli, Three Rivers Legal Services, The Office of the Public Defender, and the University of Alabama’s School of Law Civil Clinic.
In 2012, Felipe founded Fulgencio Law with a singular goal: to help persons and consumers injured by the negligence of others and aid those who have been victimized by corporate greed. In less than five years, Fulgencio Law has secured verdicts and settlements in excess of $10,000,000 on behalf of its clients.
Felipe is a member of the Tampa Bay Trial Lawyers Association, the Florida Justice Association, the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the Tampa Bay Hispanic Bar Association, a current Board Member of the Tampa Bay Inn of Court, and a past member of the Florida Small Claims Rules Committee.
